The Larder offers all sorts of tempting farm produce with lots of artisanal foods from small producers, many of them relatively local to us. We have our own honey from bees kept here on the farm as well heather honey, raw honey and cut honey comb. Our wide range of locally made cakes, biscuits, traybakes and confectionery is enough to tempt all ages and tastes. Sourdough breads are made by the Natural Bread Company, Oxford and go beautifully with some of our locally made rapeseed oils or extra virgin Spanish Olive Oils and Balsamic vinegars. Our Gluten Free product range is constantly growing with Breads and rolls from Findlater’s, cakes from the Cotswold Baking Co and savoury snacks from Mrs Crimble’s to name but a few.
This delicious, fresh Hollandaise is made at Award Winning Ouse Valley Foods in West Sussex, in small batches from an amalgamation of local free range eggs, Sussex butter, a special spiced wine vinegar and fresh lemon juice - it is simply wonderful!
The Natural Bread Company, Oxford deliver a selection of their sourdoughs and pastries to us. Their signature sourdoughs are made using locally milled flour, sourdough starter, water, salt and time, these slow fermentation techniques give the bread a wonderful texture and depth of flavour. Bestsellers include the Oxford (White wheat & rye sourdough), Miche (award winning spelt, white wheat & rye) and seeded rye(100% rye and filled with sunflower seeds).
The Cornfield Bakery, Wheatley also deliver a selection of Artisan Breads, including the popular Multiseed GI Loaves.
We have a wide selection of locally brewed craft Ales and Cider from Hook Norton Ales, Chadlington Brewery, North Cotswold Brewery and Pearson’s Ciders. With an ever increasing range of local distillers we are proud to stock Cotswold Gin and Whisky and Bramley & Gage Fruit Liqueurs to name but a few.
